The Bobwhite Quail
The experience and pure thrill of an exploding Bobwhite covey will make any person a Bobwhite Harvester for life. Along with the thrill the eating quality is just excellent!

The Bobwhite is found through-out the mid and eastern US. But here in northern Ohio heavy blizzards in the late 1970's nearly wiped the population out. Pin raised "released" birds didn't seem to take hold. Thanks to the ODNR they now have a capture and release program that is working much better.
